HOW I CELEBRATE MY HOLIDAY
I celebrate the holidays by bonding with my family. Every year, we gather at my brother's house on December 24th, where we wait until midnight to celebrate Christmas. We eat and drink until it's time to go home. On Christmas Day, we attend church, and afterward, we return to my brother's house, as some of our relatives give us gifts or money. In the afternoon, we drink again to continue enjoying the holiday and celebrate together.
On New Year's Eve, before the year ends, we go to my sister's house, as she lives separately with her own family. We celebrate in a similar way to Christmas, waiting until midnight to welcome the new year. After that, we eat, and then my brother-in-law sets off fireworks. We go outside to watch the display, and afterward, we return inside to drink some alcohol and spend the night at their house. In the morning, sometimes I sleep in, and other times we go to my brother's house.
It’s a bit sad because my girlfriend and I are not able to spend the holidays together. But that’s how I celebrate my holidays.
